History
In 1996, a small group of 15 people with different artistic backgrounds,
met with Jürgen Müller and Pep Gatell - members of the Spanish theatre company
La Fura dels Baus. They didn't know exactly what to expect but one thing was certain -
it would break down the traditional norms of theatre.
The rehearsal space was an old abandoned factory.
The scaffolding that was present would be effectively used.
The following days would see these people re-assess their frontiers -
the frontiers of their thinking, their norms, their power and daring.
Their creativity seemed endless and without bounds.
The group collaborated on an equal level, investigating combinations and making
scenes, under the guidance and instincts of the teachers-directors.
The result was a powerful performance staged above and amongst the audience.

Luna Baal
Half of the original group wanted to investigate this new way of making theatre.
A collective was formed and was named Luna Baal.
In 1996 'Myth' was made, a performance about the power of mankind fighting
with and against the power of nature. The performance met with a positive reception,
and other performances soon followed.
The group eventually chartered its course. The members looked for an extreme
amalgamation of actor, costume and set-design.
Certain movements have been choreographed without losing their meaning in acting.
Circus artists, fire artists and singers, musicians, dj's and vj's have been trained as actors.
Their acts have become a part of the whole production.
